These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you ("you", "your", the School, parent, student, teacher, staff member, or other end user) and Dotplus Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("SchoolCare", "we", "our", "us"), governing your access to and use of the SchoolCare School ERP website (https://schoolcare.in) and the SchoolCare mobile application available on Google Play (com.dotplus.schoolcare_app) (collectively, the "Service" or "App").
By creating an account, installing the App, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Acceptance
The Service is intended for use by schools and their authorised users (administrators, teachers, staff, parents, and students). Minors may use the Service only through accounts created and managed by their School or parent/guardian. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you have the legal capacity (or appropriate authorisation) to do so.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- You must promptly notify us of any unauthorised access to or use of your account.
- One account may not be shared by multiple individuals.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.
3. License to Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the SchoolCare App and access the Service solely for its intended educational and administrative purposes.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Upload content that is obscene, defamatory, infringing, or violates anyone's rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with security or authentication features.
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service.
- Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited communications via the Service.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any School.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service (photos, documents, assignments, messages — "User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant SchoolCare a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process the content solely to provide the Service.
You represent and warrant that (a) you own or have all necessary rights to your User Content, and (b) your User Content does not violate any law or third-party right.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
- SchoolCare is offered to schools on a subscription basis. Subscription plans, pricing, and modules are agreed in a separate Order Form or Quotation with the School.
- Parents/students may pay school fees through the App via integrated payment gateways. Such payments are between you and your School; SchoolCare merely facilitates the transaction.
- All amounts are payable in Indian Rupees (INR) unless agreed otherwise.
- Applicable taxes (GST) will be added.
- Failure to pay subscription fees may result in suspension or termination of the Service.
7. Refund Policy
- Subscription fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in a written agreement or required by law.
- For fee payments made by parents/students through the App: refund eligibility is determined solely by the School. Disputes should be raised with the School first.
- Where a payment was clearly made in error (duplicate / failed transaction with debit), please contact billing@dotplus.in within 7 days with proof. Verified refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, designs, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and other materials (excluding User Content), is owned by Dotplus Technologies Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual-property right to you, except for the limited license granted in Section 3.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, SMS/WhatsApp providers, Google Firebase, cloud hosting). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. SchoolCare is not responsible for third-party services beyond our reasonable control.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, and how you can delete your account and data in accordance with Google Play's policies.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall SchoolCare or its directors, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amounts paid by the School to SchoolCare in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 5,000 — whichever is lower.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SchoolCare and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) your misuse of the Service.
14. Suspension & Termination
- You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, pose a security risk, or fail to pay fees due.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, liability, indemnity, governing law) shall survive termination.
15. Google Play End-User License Agreement
The SchoolCare mobile app is distributed through Google Play. Your installation and use of the App is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Google Play Terms with respect to the App, these Terms govern except where Google Play's policies expressly require otherwise.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you via email, push notification, or in-app banner. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Patna, Bihar, India.
Before initiating legal proceedings, the parties shall make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes through written notice and discussion for at least 30 days.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
